Following the train for a while, I found myself at the Buffalo Ridge in southwestern Minnesota. Looking like a scene out of the Canadian prairies, the train continues on south looking quite at home in this part of the state. The train originated in Paducah, KY, and is heading towards an ethanol plant in southern Minnesota. Interesting fact, the snow in this photo was from the same storm system that caused the record breaking quad state tornado, which didn't hit far from where the train came from.
