Remarks & Notes
The crew of PO-74 starts to rearrange their consist shortly after arriving at Gravel Place. Some of the tank cars seen in the distance are destined to WestRock a few miles east in Delaware Water Gap, PA. Lately it seems the crew prefers running around their train here and shoving down to the plant. This allows for a quick turn west without running further east to the run-around at Slateford. The day was mostly cloudy but a "sucker hole" opened up just in time to highlight both the train and some adjacent fall foliage.

Don Colangelo, retired CMO (and sometimes piano player) at the DL Scranton shops cared for the many ALCOs, MLWs and a few EMDs that passed in and out of South Scranton and Von Storch shop doors. Here is a look and many of those units.
