An eastbound BNSF grain train squats at East Algoma, Idaho, for three westbounds, with the final one being the Sandpoint local. BNSF SD40-2 leads the local back home to Spokane on September 30, 2021. Construction on a second bridge over Lake Pend Oreille is well underway, and will help alleviate congestion such as this.
