| Mojave Airport
A Grain Train charges the 2%+ grade approaching Warren on the east slope of Tehachapi Pass. Above the grain train is a empty coal train that has just returned from Trona. The coal train sits on the border of the Mojave Airport. Two 777s sit in storage, with the one on the far right awaiting engine replacements. At the end of the runway sits a former Virgin Atlantic 747-400. Richard Branson has transferred it to his Virgin Galactic Space Program. The dark line above the airport is BNSF's Mojave Subdivision. |
