| As orders for new locomotives dwindled, the GE locomotive (now Wabtec) locomotive factory in Fort Worth, TX started a rebuild program for customer's older units. As per the comments, my mistake for including these units with other customer's DC to AC conversions as they were built as AC4400CW's to begin with. Here two completed units now with an "M" added to their designation are running back and forth over the plant's three-mile test track prior to delivery to CP. |
