Most days there is mainline power sitting on the wye in Union Pacific’s West Anaheim Yard, laying over between the run from West Colton to Anaheim before returning. On this day, UP AC4400CW 5661 was teamed with SD70ACe 8943, GP38-2 626 (ex-UP 2124. née-MP 2124) and GP40-2 1400 (ex-SSW 7645) sit on the leg of the wye parallel to West Broadway Street awaiting their evening departure.
