| Electric-Diesel.
Amtrak train 174 (17) climbs the Hell Gate Bridge approach with both an electric and a diesel locomotive on the front. P42 number 6 is pulling the train, with ACS-64 number 635 acting as a cab car (note the pantographs are down). Amtrak ran a few trains with this locomotive arrangement on this day, after winter storm Gail dropped large amounts of snow on the Northeast. |
