Traffic is a bit jammed up on Virginia Street grade crossing beneath the famous Reno Arch in Reno, Nevada, as a westbound Union Pacific train rumbles through on March 11, 2003. Not helping the situation are two city trucks and crew that happened to be changing light bulbs from clear to green on the famous sign for St. Patrick’s Day 2003. The following year, construction began on the “Reno Trench,” that would soon thereafter take trains below street level.
