This particular example is the last operating CF7 on the entire Genesee & Wyoming roster (including industrial switching provider RailLink). The Emmons era Yorkrail paint is faded to nearly nothing, as this unit was once adorned with red Operation Lifesaver logos on the long hood. With the arrival of several GP15-1s on the YRC roster, 1500 may not be active much longer.
