Remarks & Notes
Route of the Electroliners! The North Shore (CNS&M) interurban had some neat Art Deco bridges on their line between Chicago and Milwaukee. 19 years after abandonment, the Drexel Avenue overpass in Oak Creek stands silent, awaiting a train that will never come. This part of the line is now a bike trail, but the bridge was removed several years after I took this shot as part of a road widening project.
