Rolling eastbound through the Thompson River Canyon west of Drynoch, British Columbia, is a Canadian Pacific Office Car Special on July 7, 2004, led by CP EMD GP38-2 No. 3084 and EMD FP9 No. 1401. This part of the canyon sees both railroads performing directional running between Mission and Basque, with CN handling the westbounds and CP running the eastbounds. On the other side of the river is a westbound grain train on the CN.
