Remarks & Notes
A commuter train from Haverhill runs a little late as it slows to its stop at Melrose Highlands under the first major snow storm of 2022. The signals in the background are for the future interlocking on the border of Melrose and Wakefield. The new signals will finally allow for bidirectional operations on the Haverhill line between Reading and the Fells Interlocking on the Melrose/Malden line. This will sadly mean the fall of the B&M era searchlight signals along the route, but they still stand until the interlocking and track replacement is complete.

For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
