| LZ3120, 3221 and LZ3119 work empty Aurizon Grain train 4559 to Beanbri through Warabrook this afternoon.
LZ3120 was formerly WAGR L276 and new as R1002 to Comalco. 3221 was formerly QR 2821 (Narrow gauge). LZ3119 was formerly WAGR L253.
The LZs came over last year to work grain trains yet have suffered a few issues, vs excess C44ACi locos being available. With a few 6020s being sent to WA now their use is now required and they have been swiftly pressed back into service on one of the 2 Aurizon grain rakes based in Newcastle. |
