It's a quiet winter night in Cleveland, Ohio as both of the locomotives of the Flats Industrial Railroad sit in the flats, with SW1200 1202 sitting out on the tracks and SW1500 1222 sitting inside the fenced location at the base of the lift bridge over the Cuyahoga River. Due to the loss of the railroad's primary customer, FIR 1202 was sold to the Davenport Industrial Railroad in Iowa. The unit is seen getting prepped to be shipped out, with the reporting marks on the cab having been recently painted over.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
