The San Gabriel Mountain Range's 10,069 ft (3,069 m) high Mt. San Antonio (also commonly known as "Mt. Baldy") looms over southern California's urban landscape as BNSF Railway train O-BARSDG1-05A, a deadheading 16-car Officer Special, crosses over the Santa Ana River on Metrolink’s Olive Sub as the train makes its way late in the afternoon from Barstow to San Diego. A trio of the Railway's 25th Anniversary engines – 5828, 6017 and 6163 – are powering this train. (Anaheim, California – February 5, 2022).
