| In 2018 CSXT Q090/Q091 were still a common site in the area with its usual Union Pacific power pulling fresh food & produce from Oregon to Rotterdam at the RailEx facility. The "Salad Shooter" seen here climbs the grade off the CSX Mohawk Sub to Selkirk Sub into the CP-RJ interlocking rounding the curve from the trestle with some soft afternoon sun & UP 3868 in-charge. Unfortunately this is no longer a separate train. It runs as an add-on to freights bound for Selkirk defeating the need for UP power. The refrigerated cars are then brought back west by the local to RailEx, back to the yard, then sent out west yet again. |
