Remarks & Notes
The 0-4-0T steam locomotive "Winifred" (left) was built in 1885 by the Hunslet Engine Company for the Penrhyn Slate Quarry. An American antique dealer bought the engine in 1965 for export to the States. In 2012 the locomotive came back to Wales to the Bala Lake railway. "George B" dates from 1898, ist the same type and built by the same company.
