A nine-car BNSF Railway Officer train threads its way through Fullerton Junction, where Metrolink's Orange Sub splits from BNSF's San Bernardino Sub, as it deadheads from Commerce, just southeast of downtown Los Angeles, to San Bernardino, about 50 miles to the east. The train will depart "San Berdoo" for Topeka KS the next morning with BNSF with the Railway's CEO, Kathryn Farmer, aboard … at least until Clovis, New Mexico. BNSF Anniversary engine 6163 is this train's power (coincidentally following Anniversary engine 6078 on the Q-LACNWH by just a few minutes), and the cars (for those interested) are BNSF 66 Cajon Pass, 69 Eagle Pass, 53 Mt San Antonio, 60 Stevens Pass, 65 Raton Pass, 64 Marias Pass, 1 Gerald Grinstein, 11 Fred Harvey and 32 William B Strong.
