BNSF Railway's freights to San Diego normally run after dark, but due to some maintenance being performed overnight, the freights have been operating during the day for a few weeks. Today's train, passing through Rose Canyon, is powered by a pair of the railway's ES44C4s, split by a Dash 9-44CW, along with a GP60 heading to town for local service.
