Running Its Home Rails of the Past
Illinois Central GP40R 3107, still wearing the IC Deathstar scheme, brings the CN Hattiesburg, MS - Evanston, MS turn L543 south on the former IC Beaumont District, current day CN Beaumont Subdivision. Since CN's purchase of IC in 1998, only six deathstar painted geeps remain active on the CN system, making 3107 is a nice treat to the area and a glimpse of bygone days. Framed passing the Lucedale Co-Op on their last bit to Evanston, where they will interchange with the Mississippi Export.
