Rolling through the Mormon Rocks, BNSF Railway S-LPCSCO2-22 (Intermodal Stacks; Logistics Park Chicago IL to Long Beach CA), behind ES44C4 6933, ES44DC 7876 and ES44C4 8263 (and with ES44AC 6227 on the rear), descend Cajon Pass as it nears its destination, some 60 miles or so ahead. It is not obvious, but at this time snow was falling not too far to the left of Mormon Rocks, and in about two hours it would pass through the heart of Cajon Pass and head to Barstow – although none of it was sticking.
