After Effects: Due to an unprecedented amount of rainfall on September 1st and 2nd, several railroads in the area of Manville and Bound Brook, NJ ended up underwater. Causing issues with the signaling system, trains needed to operate through much of the area without properly working signals at restricted speeds for several days, as seen here with a late-running NS 18G. The leader was rebuilt from C44-9W NS 8906 in August of 2019. Behind the leader are C44-9W locomotives NS 9884 and NS 9552.
