UP NW2 1044, a GP9 and DRGW SD45 no. 5327 have a transfer at what I believe was the wye that connected the Rio Grande to the Western Pacific in Salt Lake City. The Rio Grande station is in the background. I am not very familiar with Salt Lake City, this shot was taken on my first visit. Google maps indicates all this trackage is gone.
