An empty sweet brand train rolls east on the Marceline Sub. The train passes the sleepy town of Baring. The train is bound for Eddyville, IA, on the Ottumwa Sub. The old elevator at Baring has seen better days, but the old Santa Fe "truck to rail" banner can still be seen. The old house track is full here, as many cars from a recent derailment at MP 294 are getting new wheels under them.
