Remarks & Notes |
In yet another throw back to Great Northern, a work train roll west toward Stevens Pass crossing the Wenatchee River one of three times at Dryden, WA. BN 8015 leads a long hood first elephant style consist of 2 SD40-2s and a GP38-2. The setup was likely the result of no wye being available in Wenatchee where the train originated. My guess is the crew may have wyed the lead unit at Merritt, WA about 45 miles west of Wenatchee where there is a wye for helpers and snowplows. |
