Illuminated by perfect golden hour light, empty steel slab train MSE (CN) U703 eases into Mississippi Export’s Evanston Yard behind a trio class 1 units. Having run a loaded set of gondolas south in the morning (U702), they are seen here bringing an empty set north from a U702 two weeks prior. These steel slab trains are delivered to MSE by CN to be unloaded on barges in Moss Point, MS and shipped to the AM/NS Calvert Plant in Calvert, AL. Taken with permission.
