| The large barge "local" from Grand Rapids to Detroit rolls thru Howell on the CSX Plymouth Sub. This train is rumbling along with 61x105-171 cars... 11412 tons and 9571 feet.. This train sat for a couple hours outside of Howell after the inbound crew went dead and the dogcatch crew had to catch up. Now with a new crew, and a new train symbol (D706-D906) the train is again heading east. The CSX in Michigan was a complete messed up mess while we were out there. This job runs one way-each day, and it got later and later each day the 1st week in October. |
