From 1987 to 1990, Wisconsin & Southern operated a luxury dinner train called “Scenic Rail Dining” from North Milwaukee to Horicon, Wisconsin. On May 9, 1987, WSOR EMD E9 No. 10C leads a test train as a precursor to the dinner train, from Granville to Horicon, seen here westbound at Germantown. These two E units have migrated south to America’s Dairyland from Alaska Railroad, and still wear that railroads colors, albeit patched.
