Intercity 713 of the line IC 1 of the SBB is running at 140 km/h on the mainline along the Lake Geneva, on the way from Geneva Airport via Lausanne-Fribourg-Bern-Zürich-Winterthur to St.Gallen. The train is between the former stops of Céligny and Crans VD, near the Murat crossover. On the right on the hill is the Chàteau de Crans, a privatly owned stately country house. The castle-like building was built between 1764 and 1768 by the Geneva architects Jean-Louis Bovet and Jean-Jacques Vaucher-Fatton, probably according to designs by the French architect Claude Jean-Baptiste Jallier de Savault (1739-1806). The train consist is "FVD" RABe 502 # 224 and # 225, both of type "IR200", and has 1364 seats. The planned consist instead is a IC200 and a IR200 coupled, so today the restaurant and children compartment is missing.
