For celebrating 150 years of the line Lausanne - Geneva, steamlocomotive A 3/5 # 705 (built 1904) of SBB Historic with 6 vintage cars of the 1930' made two return journeys between this towns in the french speaking part of Switzerland. The elegant 4-6-0 fourcylinder-compound (de Glehn system) from 1904 has just passed the former station of Céligny and is racing towards Nyon, near the Murat crossover. Nowadays, the locomotive isn't in the core fleet anymore, but maintained and operated by the steam group Zürich (VDZ), and undergoing a large revision in Brugg AG in the moment. The cars of the 1930' are not operational anymore and stabled in Olten, sadly.
