It is Beamish Museum's annual steam weekend and this year there is a great deal of activity concentrating on the road side of things. Not much is taking place on rails. One of the guests to the party is narrow gauge locomotive Whillan Beck on loan from Ravenglass and Eskdale railway and is being displayed on the back of a trailer hauled by a steam traction engine. After a tour of the site the load returns to the colliery yard for an hour's static display and is seen heading past Beamish museum's "coffee pot" locomotive which has been hauling wagons in the yard.
