| BNSF 7519 is clawing its path through the steep grades and nearly constant curvature of Tehachapi Pass as the southbound manifest destined for Barstow negotiates the short single track segment between Walong and Marcel sidings. While the head-end splits the photogenic SP searchlight signals the consist emerges from Tunnel No. 10. It wouldn't be long until this scene was altered with the addition of a second main track between Walong and Marcel with the searchlights and code lines soon to go. |
