It's a beautiful spring day as the New York Yankees' 2022 season will get underway soon, albeit a day late due to heavy rains the day before. While waiting for the two specials comprised of historic equipment from the New York Transit Museum, a typical MTA 4 Train (Lexington Avenue Express), consisting of Bombardier R142 cars, makes a stop at the 161 Street/Yankee Stadium station. This train is making its way from Woodlawn in the Bronx through Manhattan to Brooklyn's Crown Heights/Utica Avenue station. It won't be long before these platforms are teeming with fans of the local team, as well as a few hardy Boston Red Sox fans as well. (New York, New York - April 8, 2022)
