Railcars Be 556 # 522, # 526 and # 527, including car B # 221 in between, are running train 12825 of the line S 10 of the SZU (Sihltal-Zürich-Uetliberg Bahn) from Zürich main station SZU up to the Uetliberg, between Ringlikon and Uetliberg. This was the second last day of regularly passenger operation of this vehicles, they will be used for work trains in the next time only. The 8 railcars Be 556 # 521 to # 528 (by the SZU designated as Be 520 series) were built in 1992 by SLM and Siemens for the 1200 V DC overhead line of the Uetliberg line. This summer, the overhead system will be converted to 15000 V 16,7 Hz AC and so this vehicle generation can not be used longer. They will be withdrawn and scrapped in the autumn.
