Florida fall foliage is almost non-existent, but spring looks nice. Two of the four ex-FEC SD70M-2 have been very nicely repainted for the FGAR, but utilize FGA reporting marks. The operational schedule for FGAR has the Lake City "West" job swapping with the Tallahassee "East" job at the siding in Lee, roughly the halfway point between the two. This usually means the Tallahassee job has the better lighting....but for several days now, the nighttime Baldwin interchange with CSXT has been getting stuck for the daytime West crew to drive to, then block n' switch, then service customers along the way with, leading to late afternoons out of Lake City. In today's case, some unexpected schedule change annulled the Tallahassee train, with them going to an "every other day" deal, so as was the case when the bridge was out earlier this year, the Lake City job is continuing into Live Oak to work customers. They will drop what has to go to Tallahassee and work another 12 hour day to the last second. If you visit these operations, plan on not having a plan....
