Red, White, and Blue. In a departure from the normal blue and yellow, on Friday, April 22, 2022, CSX Q212-22 had a very colorful leader as Canadian National Railway Company (CN) 3115 (BC RAIL, ET44AC) was in front from Buffalo, NY to Port Newark, NJ. In 2020, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of CN's Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 1995 as a private company, 5 heritage units of companies that comprise its network were painted and released for service. The operations of British Columbia Rail, chartered in 1912 as the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, became part of CN in 2004. The train is seen crossing the Mohawk River in Pattersonville, New York, and will arrive in CSX's Selkirk Yard within the hour before receiving a new crew that will take the train down the River Sub.
