After a hiatus of 18 years, the preserved four car 'Tait' set returned to public tours on April 23rd 2022. It is seen here on Platform 10 at Flinders Street station, preparing to depart for Pakenham. This is currently the only operational historic electric train in Melbourne, and its return has allowed a whole new generation of railfans to experience this wonderful piece of local history.
