After waiting for 3 hours just to get a signal on the freight lead, CSX M765-01 “Widows Creek Turn” is rushing up the main 2 track cresting Raccoon Mountain. M765 is a seven days a week turn that serves customers in the Bridgeport, and Stevenson Al. A lot of times M765 normally has 4 axles units assigned due to the weight restriction on the West Rock branch just south of the TVA Widows Creek lead. Coming from experience working this job, it’s a breath of fresh air seeing these older Geep’s on the road, but not so much when you’re riding its especially the oil belching 2731.
