Remarks & Notes
Conrail's ME2 makes its way south on the Delco Lead along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. Today, it will travel to the southern most end of the Delco Lead to deliver lumber at the Blackstone Lumber Company (Inc.) at Progress Road. The lumber yard at this location has been closed since approximately 2010. The locomotive originally was PC 8132 for Penn Central, then went to Conrail as CR 8132, before going to Norfolk Southern. A graffiti incident in 2005 led to one side of the locomotive being painted all black, as seen here. The missing logo was restored on the locomotive by 2011.
