It served mainly to pull light "tramway" trains between Geneva and Lausanne and between 1937 and 1946 on the line Nyon-Crassier-Divonne. In 1947 withdrawn but stabled. Made operational again between 1971 and 1973 in the AW Offenburg of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and then running for the Eurovapor in the Basel region. 1996 to 2003 not operational stabled in Delémont. Operational reconditioning by the steam group of the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn (OeBB) from 2004 to 2006, since then operated and maintained in Balsthal. The locomotive is leaving Burgdorf with the former CIWL dining car WR # 2749 of the Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich and the dining car # 401 of the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn, with a private charter from Balsthal via Oensingen-Solothurn-Biel-Lyss-Zollikofen to Burgdorf, then back via Solothurn to Balsthal.
