A trio of Baldwin diesels sit adjacent to the California Western Railroad’s enginehouse. CWR RS-12 56 (ex-McCloud River 33) is on the far end, coupled to CWR S-12 57 (ex-Southern Pacific 2148, originally SP 1541) and then CWR DS4-4-1000 53 (ex-Pan American Engineering W8380; née-US Army Corps of Engineers W8380) ... and then one can see a sliver of CWR caboose 11. CWR 56 was built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in April 1955, CWR 57 was constructed by B-L-H in September 1953 and CWR 53 is an August 1949 product of Baldwin Locomotive Works. (Fort Bragg, California – July 5, 1976)
