Remarks & Notes
The Oigawa Railway Ikawa Line is known throughout Japan for the beautiful turquoise water of the Oi River...but they turn this color after a monsoon. The train is being pulled by a DD20, 6 of them were made for the very short tunnel clearance on this line, there are basketball players who are taller than these locomotives. The line was originally made to construct dams along the river but has since become one of the most popular scenic trains in Japan.
