| CP 8856 leads train 100 east along the banks of the Bow River in Calgary. I've been coming to this approximate spot every summer since I started taking pictures of trains back in 2010. Not only is it a nice spot for a train photo but, it is also a very nice location to sit and wait for a train. One can listen to the river, the birds and the people using the pathway nearby. If it gets too hot, there are plenty of shady spots under the trees. |
