On September 10, 2016, Iowa Interstate ran a series of excursion trains on its Subdivision 2 between Henry and Chillicothe, IL to benefit the Henry Fire Department. Here, the second run of the day departs Henry for Chillicothe with one of IAIS's GP38-2s leading the way. Another Geep is at the rear to bring the train back to Henry later.
Although most only provide freight service, regional railroads have passenger operations; not only executive trains but also charity events and excursions.
