This evening two Harrisburg, PA - KC stack train counterparts, eastbound NS 20T facing the photographer and westbound NS 21T, conducted a rolling meet at Clymers, IN on Norfolk Southern's former Wabash RR line. The two trains, both were +11,000' in length. Since the siding at Clymers is only 12,400' siding, this was a tight fit mixed in with the 0.9% grade on which the trailing 15% of 21T's train was still riding on when the photo was taken. Heavy haul railroading at its finest.......
