Remarks & Notes
GO To Niagara Falls. GO Transit/Metrolinx MP40PH-3C (MPI) 640 was the power for Train 1927 on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, seen passing the junction at Clifton returning to Toronto after making its run from Toronto Union Station to Niagara Falls, Ontario. Daily GO Transit service to Niagara Falls via the GO Transit Lakeshore West line is used by a decent ridership. After VIA service here ended in 2012, the Amtrak/VIA Maple Leaf was the only regular passenger service here until September of 2019 when GO Transit committed to a regular schedule. Amtrak/VIA service has also returned after a 26 month pause during pandemic related service cuts.
