The Colorado Railroad Museum runs one of their three original Galloping Geese motors. Rio Grande Southern #2 was built in 1931 using a Buick car body, which was replaced in 1939 with a body from a Pierce-Arrow car. It was used to haul mail and other goods among the smaller railroad towns in the Colorado Mountains.
