Ever since 1962, the small, narrow gauged steam train has chugged its way through the beautiful museum park. Norway’s shortest railway line only runs for a few hundred metres, but this brief journey will give you a genuine olden-day experience. A return trip with the train is included in the museum admission fee. 75 centimeter gauge 0-6-0 T steamlocomotive # 2 "Urskog" with a train on the short railway on the area of the Norsk Railway Museum in Hamar. The locomotive was built in 1895 by Sächsische Maschinenfabrik zu Chemnitz, vormals Rich.Hartmann with construction # 2102 and run on the Urskog-Hølandsbanen. The narrow gauge train has just branched off from the three-rail standard gauge/75 cm track.
