An aging locomotive built for the Reading Railroad was still at work in 2008 moving intermodal containers at Port Wentworth, Georgia. RLIX #1003 was an EMD SW1001 built as Reading #2624. With the formation of Conrail in 1976, it became CR #9424. It later became Savannah Port Terminal Railroad #1003 and then Raillink #1003. The engine was retired andscrapped on site in 2018. Port Wentworth is switched out by the Genesee & Wyoming (GWI) Railroad.
