American Flags on the Reading: On Independence Day 2022, NS 212, with two UP engines, heads east on the Norfolk Southern Reading Line. Behind the leader are UP 4041 (SD70M) and NS 9937 (C44-9W). While foreign power leading on the Reading and Lehigh Lines is still a rare occurrence in 2022, to the delight of railfans, such occurrences are once again possibilities.
